As a developer of LBS and social networking applications I'm lucky to be able to carry three devices. I have a BlackBerry 8900 (AT&T), an IPod Touch (Wifi) and a Droid X (Verizon) within easy reach 24 / 7. I NEED all three devices. I use each device for a different purpose.
I choose the BlackBerry for the following tasks:
1) Email - Typing on the BlackBerry is definitely still the best email experience.
2) Calendar - The calendar is so simple and integrates with Outlook well.
3) Voice calls - I haven't done voice comparisons on Droid X and iPhone.
4) Contacts - I keep my contacts up to date on my BlackBerry through Outlook.
5) Prompt - the punctuality app exclusively on BlackBerry devices. I built this award winning application. It gets me everywhere on time and there's nothing else like it.
