Why the New 99c Entry Point is Good for #BlackBerry Developers and Consumers?

As a developer the lower 99c pricing option on BlackBerry Appworld is good news.  The cheaper entry point will tempt more AppWorld customers to set up payment facilities and potentially move to higher added value applications.

Itunes set up this 99c price level, as if an app had the same utility as a song.  The parity is not accurate for all apps, especially useful ones.  A user can benefit from an useful app many times a day, but is unlikely to listen to a song as frequently for any length of time.

There are some apps that add significant value and are used daily but cost more to build and the data has to be updated every few minutes for every region in the country.

  To Tom Coughlin, Giant's coach, being late is not acceptable.  When two of his superstars, safety Antrel Rolle and running back Ahmud Bradshaw showed up late for a team meeting, I bet they experienced some of Tom Coughlin's frustration.
